I am in wedding overload. About 2 weeks ago I got a review of our business. One of those things that just happen. My sister-in-law will be the maid of honor at a friend's wedding. She got to experience what other planners/florists offer and what we offer. She was just casually commenting about her friend and how she'll probably pick a hotel because of what they're offering. One thing led to another and she mentioned her point of view regarding our meeting with the bride vs another planner.
WOW! I admit I got upset. Not at the moment, but later on... while giving it too much thought. I started questioning everything I did or didn't do. Everything my partner did or didn't do. The works. After 2 days into my pitty party I got up and did what i do best: Google! I searched things related to wedding planning. Reading like if this was my first time. Nothing was too obvious for me. I was soaking up everything I could possibly learn. And now? Well I'm glad, I'm happy for what I heard. Because the good thing is I now know what I needed to improve. And I have this information thanks to a comment that stung!
I'm feeling motivated, and hopeful. I am looking at all the areas I can improve. I am researching different ways to network and promote ourselves. Only good things will come after this.
SAHM currently trying to conceive a sibling for my toddler, wife, volunteer and part-time event planner. Sometimes a control freak with Super Mom syndrome.

Google Ads and Bears
I am very new to all this, and although I consider myself somewhat a geek I really don't understand Google Ads. I do know they usually have to do something with whatever you're reading. At least I think it should.
I have hundreds of blog posts that I haven't read and decided to go with Robin Sharma's posts. I like him very much, his books and his blog. The ads caught my attention simply because I am not used to seeing them in the Reader. I see them on the actual web page, but whatever. Then I get to January's 14 post, named "A Choice Called Peace" and was very intrigued by the ad. So much that I went back to see the previous ones.
Before you say anything, I have nothing against gays. Actually about 50% of my friends are gay, and they are a very important part of our lives. Having said that, I just thought it was a bit odd and funny to find this ad on that post. Exactly how it is relevant is beyond my knowledge.
Oh, and the name? I had to read it twice... I thought it was called GayBeardDating. I figured they all had facial hair or something. But now I am assuming they are just furry all over. Grrrrr!!!

Ruth Needs...
Read on several posts about this "thing" where you search your name on google followed by the word needs and you get some pretty interesting results. I figured I would give it a try and see what would come up. So here are my "needs".
* Ruth needs a good prodding now and again. (ummmm ?)
* RUTH NEEDS MOOLA MOOLA! (hell yeah!)
* Ruth needs to be appointed onto the British Tourist Authority Board asap (interesting job I guess)
* In An Attempt To Address Ruth's Needs, The Staff Requests A Sleeping Pill From the Physician.
* Ruth needs a halo!
* Ruth, needs only ten more homers to beat
* Ruth needs a hug (give me some LOVE!)
* RUTH NEEDS MONEY! (I'm not making this up, it showed up again)
* Ruth needs helping hand ( Actually could use some help for SinParedes.com)
Care to share yours?
