Homeschooling

I don't really homeschool but I would like to take advantage of me being home with Pumpkin and teach her a thing or two. She knows the numbers 1-10 both in English and Spanish. She knows the colors and some shapes. But is there something more I can do? I think so. I've read a lot, bookmarked many pages and printed worksheets. I even have some monthly goals I would like to achieve. In other words, I am prepared.

So why am I not succeeding at this? It's simple: laziness. Or actually computer addiction. I can spend hours without noticing it. I will start picking up toys and all of a sudden sit down and search for something. Next thing I know I am again on crackbook, readings emails and just doing nothing important. And I get pissed at myself! Why not play with her more? Paint?run?go to the park? So this is pretty much what I am thinking about right now while waiting for a pneumologist to see me (is that spelled right?). I've been coughing for almost 3 weeks and nothing seems to be working. We'll see how this goes.
