FitDay

I like to consider myself a work in progress. Constantly evolving and learning. That is in part why I like to read so much. I want to learn new perspectives and ways to see life in general. Because after all, I want to be the best human being that I can. There is one blog which I really like and it's Zen Habits by Leo Babauta. Of course I don't personally know him (but would love to) and I think he's a pretty cool guy. If you haven't read his blog, you should definitely check it out.

I am not even sure in what post it was but he mentioned fitday.com and since I am sucker for anything he mentions I went to see what it was. There are MANY sites that help people track calories and that stuff. But this one caught my attention... not only because Leo mentioned it but because I like all the options it offers under activities. Yeah, there are the obvious ones like running, strength training, swimming, cycling, etc. But then they have house stuff: cleaning, laundry, cooking, carrying children, sex! When it comes to calories burned, the more the better! I understand the fact that if you use this the wrong way you might feel like cheating on your diet. But I am looking at it as a way to boost my morale. I am happy with myself that I have exercised all 3 days this week and am looking forward to tracking my food intake.
And really, I want the number of burned calories during sex to go up. Sadly, it's a bit disappointing :(
