I was being lazy about something I shouldn't. Pumpkin needed some of her shots and I waited, then she got sick, blah, blah. Finally we had an appointment for today. Man, I hate doctor's appointments. You never know how long you'll have to wait, and with a toddler, that sucks BIG TIME! When we arrived we had 8 people before our turn, the place was crowded and kids were screaming. How fun...
As soon as I laid Pumpkin she started crying. But she did behave. I mean, she was screaming, but she wasn't pulling or pushing. Just looking up crying, which makes it worse to see! She got some crayons, coloring pages and 2 bandages... and mom got some drama.
She didn't want to walk, so I was carrying my 34lb baby while trying to pay the ticket and find the keys. And they wonder why women believe they can do everything. *cough* because we can. When we got home she was mostly back to normal until I changed her clothes. She saw her bandages and started walking funny. She looked like she might have some bad cramps instead of bandages on her thighs, but what do I know! And that's how my day ended, with a little girl who "can't" walk because it hurts. But the miracle happened when I offered chocolate. Mysteriously the pain went away and not only could she walk, she was able to run! It is true what they say. Chocolate is good for the heart. And I ♥ Pumpkin.
