Biggest Loser Finale

OH MY FREAKING GOD!

Was the Biggest Loser Finale long or what? I was very shocked with some of the transformations. Jerry, the 64-year old lost 177lbs! Good for him, I just thought he looked older. And I was sad to see the faces of the ones that haven't done as well as they've hoped. Mike looked amazing. But when I saw Helen and Tara together, I doubted that Tara could win. I was really cheering for her. She worked her ass off, not like most of the others didn't. But she really pushed herself, won 12 challenges and never went under the yellow line. I really think she deserved it. But Helen looked really good.

Here's my final thought, or question. Have you noticed that when a person looses weight either by being on TV, or using diet pill, or a meal plan, they not only end up with a new body but also with a tan? What's up with that? I guess somehow the body feels it should reward you with a nice color.

BL Couples - week 2

I was not prepared for last night's episode. I was not prepared to cry SO much!
Some of the weight were very impressive considering week 2 is usually a tough one. Then there was the drama between Joelle and Bob. That was interesting to say the least!
But in the end it was not Joelle, who everyone figured would be the lowest, who went home.
WHY did it have to be between Daniel and Jerry? WHY GOD??!! OK, maybe a little dramatic there, but, really? Aren't they the ones who needed it the most?
They were my 2 favorites and when I saw Jerry's face at his weight in, that's when I started to cry and didn't stop until I started watching my recorded episode of American Idol! Even Ali was crying!

I guess the right decision was made. After all Jerry does have a support system at home. But still, it broke my heart, and I am still aching. Or was it something I ate?
But on the positive side, I was very happy and impressed with his weight loss up to date. He looks so good! Go Jerry!!

I am hoping, really hoping, that Joelle starts caring about her weight loss because right now I am really wondering what the hell she's doing there!

Biggest Loser Couples - Season 7

I am addicted to this show! I only started watching it last season Biggest Loser Families and found it very entertaining. I am amazed at the transformations and all the emotional stuff tied to weight. And of course, looking at all the contestants at the finale... wow! Amazing!
This season started only 4 days ago and the producers already are shaking things up. I already have my 2 favorite teams and fortunately their trainer is Jillian. Personally I think she is a better trainer overall. I like her approach, the way she pushes them and how she'll also deal with the emotional side. Last season there was a bitch very MEAN competitor.. actually 2 but one definitely stood out. And Bob, her trainer, was very aware of this and seemed very irresponsible about this. Fine, you are competing for money but in the end you are trying to get a grip on your life and make it better. And what better way to start, or at least end, with how you are on the inside. This was a very discussed topic and a lot of tough things were said, and heck, some of them might be true. One of them stood out and basically was mentioned that if an overweight person can be that mean, there's a great chance that as a thinner person they can be meaner. I am very glad that this person did not win the competition and really hope she can incorporate her newly found exercise and diet into her life, not only when she was competing for money.

So anyway, my teams are the orange and white the 19-year old who weights 454 and the 63-year old couple. I will probably try to make some regular posts about this show since I like it a lot and it's good to see people do well. Hopefully there will be more camaraderie this time.
